We don't get as much snow as I remember getting when I was a kid. These days, I welcome it since we don't have to leave the house if we don't want. This morning was bright and cold at 18° when I woke at 5:45 AM. My sleep pattern has been all over the place since J's vacation over the holidays. I'll go to be tired, fall asleep easily then wake up 3 hours later. That leads to napping for a couple hours. Then the cycle starts all over. I stopped drinking anything with caffeine. I don't eat late and don't spend a lot of time staring at screens.
Last night I got seven solid hours of sleep and I'm praying that I'll get through the day without a nap, but I'll take one if needed. Then, when I lay my head on the pillow tonight, I'll pray that I can sleep 8 hours straight. I've never been an early riser preferring to be a night owl. It's always suited me to stay up late and paint, draw, craft or write. But now I enjoy being up between 7-8 AM each day to read my Bible and pray before getting my day started.
After making breakfast I decided to stomp around in the now that fell on Sunday to grab a few pictures...

He brought home an evening of good memories and some crud that's going around. I'm spraying and wiping everything with Lysol in the meantime along with steaming all the surfaces. So far, hubby and I aren't showing symptoms. Yay for that! Now I'm off to check out a show on AcornTV that piqued my interest: Darby & Joan. Peace, |
